SAFE HOUSING
Once opened, Lovely Village will host a two year residential program offering fully furnished living spaces for women and their children and group living environments for singles.
For women impacted by sexual trauma, safe housing is more than just a roof over their heads; it’s the first step toward reclaiming their lives. It’s a secure, stable environment where survivors can begin to heal, build trust, and rediscover their sense of self-worth. Without a safe home, this journey can feel impossible. The women we serve are strong and resilient, but safe housing provides a vital foundation that allows them to harness this strength in a supportive, stable environment.
Lovely Village's mission to support survivors of sexual trauma aligns closely with our own commitment to addressing the complex needs of individuals facing such challenges. The availability of secure, stable housing is a critical factor in the recovery process, and Lovely Village’s approach combines this with vital supportive services that foster healing and empowerment.
We have great confidence in the leadership of Lovely Village and their capacity to effectively manage and implement the responsibilities associated with housing in partnership with WHA. Their dedication to serving survivors of sexual trauma has already made a meaningful difference, and with additional support, they will be able to extend their reach even further.
