An Update On Year-End Giving

Year-end giving raises critical funds that enable us to continue being a community of healing, hope, and empowerment for survivors of sexual exploitation, trauma & trafficking.

Thanks to a generous gift from our friends at Magnolia in January 2023, we were entrusted with an apartment complex, laying the foundation for safe housing at Lovely Village. By May 2023, we launched a bold 10-year, 4-phase Comprehensive Campaign.

We are currently focused on Phase 1, which is a $2.53 million initiative including:

  • Renovating the apartment complex

  • Hiring key leadership positions: COO, Case Manager, and Residential Director

  • Securing operating budgets through FY2026

As of November, we have made exciting progress:

  • Completed demolition on the apartment complex

  • Welcomed Rebekah Powell-Lewis as our new Chief Operating Officer

  • Finalized our FY2023 operations and are making strides toward complete FY2024

As of September, we had raised $809,140.77 toward Phase 1.

WildTorch kicked off our year-end fundraising efforts with a goal of $200,000 by year’s end. $809,140.77 toward Phase 1. Reaching this goal will help fund our FY2024 operations and push us past the $1 million milestone for Phase 1!

Thanks to the generosity of WildTorch goers and some following, I am excited to say we have raised $135,038! That leaves $64,962 to go to reach our year-end goal!

You can help us exceed this goal by making a year-end donation between now and December 31.

It takes a Village—will you join us?
